The Strathearn is having a beautiful makeover
We’re excited to be enhancing The Strathearn Restaurant through a careful programme of renovation and redecoration that will improve the dining experience.
The new-look Strathearn will pay homage to the golden age of railway travel when “The Gleneagles 300”, a glamorous set of 1920s socialites, would travel in style as they made their seasonal voyages to the hotel.
To carry out these works, the restaurant will be closed from 3 January until late spring 2019.
While works are underway, the following dining options will be available.
A full buffet breakfast will be served every day in The Birnam Brasserie from 7.30 - 10.00am Monday to Friday and 7.30 - 10.30am Saturday and Sunday.
The Glendevon will serve as the hotel’s fine dining restaurant seven days a week, from 7.00 to 10.00 pm. Refurbished in 2016, The Glendevon Room has been the atmospheric setting for many a special supper, shindig and summit over the years, from the G8 meeting of world leaders in 2005 to the 2014 Ryder Cup reception dinner. Our dinner menu offers a selection of dishes showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients from Perthshire’s natural larder, and celebrates a classic Franco-Scottish cuisine.
As with all of our restaurants, spaces will be subject to availability and pre-booking is recommended.
The Birnam Brasserie is open for lunch and dinner every day as normal.
The Dormy will be open for lunch and dinner every day as normal.
Note that, as in all previous years, Restaurant Andrew Fairlie will be closed for its annual break from 3 Jan to 24 January, inclusive.
