Gamebird Shooting

Gamebird shooting is a must-do for all sports enthusiasts at least once, and where better to experience it than Scotland, the traditional heartland of the grouse? Our expert instructors can give you a lesson or two in advance and guide you in the etiquette of driven shooting.

Only available seasonally

Every aspect of your day in the hills or woods cared for by Gleneagles. You will be picked up from the front door of the Hotel and be driven by one of our experienced ex-gamekeepers and resident shooting instructors to the estate. If you have little or no previous shooting experience, you will probably have taken a lesson or two from our instructors prior to the day of the stalk or shoot, and experienced shots will enjoy the guides' wealth of local knowledge.
