The 2019 Junior Open was played on Sunday 27th October with over 120 children taking part on a clear and crisp autumn day.

The competition was played as an individual stableford over The Queen’s and The Wee Course.

Scratch or better to 28 handicap played The Queen’s Course and the results were as follows:

CSS : Boys 69, Girls 75

1st – Lewis Seath – 41 pts – Mizuno Golf Bag
2nd – Jack Clare – 39 pts – Trackman lesson at the PGA National Academy, Gleneagles
3rd – Charlie Hayton – 38 pts (BIH) – Gleneagles Head Cover
4th – Finlay Paterson – 38 pts – Shirt
5th – Ava Paterson – 37 pts (BIH) – Beanie Hat

Nearest the Pin – Sam Hall – Dozen Callaway Chrome Soft Balls

29+ handicap played The Wee Course and the results were as follows:

Non counting for handicap

1st Stuart Duncan – 27 pts – Trackman lesson at the PGA National Academy, Gleneagles

Well done to all those who came from far and wide to compete,  there were some fantastic scores. For the full results please download the “Golf Genius” app and when logging in type JUNIOROPEN under GGID. From there you will be able to access the full leader board.
