Saturday 28 January 2012
It’s one of the highlights of the Scottish calendar. And this year we’re delighted to present Burn’s Night with a bit of a twist. Instead of the full sit down meal and countless speeches, we’re giving you a tempting wee Taste of Burns.
Starting with cocktails and nibbles at 6.30pm in the Glendevon room, then join your fellow guests for Highland canapés in The Ballroom where the haggis will be piped with full honours. Then our bard for the evening, irrepressible comedian and presenter Fred MacAulay (a national Scottish treasure if ever there was one), will perform a lighthearted show that includes the all-important address to the haggis, the immortal memory and, of course, the toast to the lassies.
The evening finishes at 7.45pm, in perfect time for dinner at your choice of Gleneagles restaurant (booking advisable).
Choose from the very best of Scotland's larder with our fine dining restaurant,
The Strathearn or for something a little more relaxed and informal savour the delights of the Mediterranean inspired Deseo or the recently refurbished Dormy Clubhouse Bar and Grill.
£45 per person including drinks, canapes and entertainment. Please phone our Gleneagles reservations team on 01764 694270 to make your booking, please note that full payment will be taken at time of booking.
Stay at Gleneagles from £215 per room per night, this is based on a classic room and includes breakfast.
