The Equestrian School is one of the most impressive riding facilities in Europe, with two spacious indoor arenas an outdoor paddock and excellent tuition from qualified riding instructors.
There are a range of activities that groups can enjoy:
Scurry Driving, 1½ hrs from £60 per person (maximum of 30 guests)
Instructors provide one-to-one tuition in the rudiments of scurry driving, and double reins allow dual control of the carriage so novice drivers can relax and enjoy the experience.
Scurry driving for groups includes a lively and enjoyable competition. Drivers test their skills around a tight course of cones, and are scored on their accuracy and speed. Gleneagles rosettes and prizes are awarded to the winners.
Pleasure drives , 1 hour , £240 per carriage
Recall the elegance of bygone days with a pleasure drive in a carriage drawn by two handsome bay horses through the beautiful Perthshire countryside surrounding Gleneagles. The Equestrian School’s Polish wagonette, painted in Gleneagles’ green livery, seats six adults comfortably.
Trail Rides, 1½ hrs , £75 per person
(For 5 or 6 guests, escorted by a coach and guide)
