The Playroom

Our smallest friends will love it here in our magical land, as it's full of toys and games, costumes and castles and hours of endless fun and excitement.

Creative and imaginative staff and the range of childrens activities will ensure that your tots will never be bored.

When the urge to explore takes over our fully qualified playroom staff will have exciting adventures planned that will take your young ones into the wilds of Gleneagles, perhaps for a picnic or even pond dipping or bug hunting!!

What you can do here:

• Wonderful playroom for young children: situated in the main hotel and open daily
• Wide selection of free play and planned seasonal activities
  Sandpit and water play
• Toys including: dinosaurs, dolls house, house corner with AGA, train set
• Dress up box of costumes including: fairies, pirates, knights and more
• Craft area including : sun catchers, polystyrene planes, Harma beads and lots more
• Basket of Heuristic toys for babies and toddlers to explore
• Board games, books and DVDs
• Story-telling corner to inspire tiny minds
• Kitchen amenities

Every year the playroom undergoes an audit by Care Commission Scotland.

Please note that The Playroom is registered for the care of children 2 and upwards.  Children if under 2 years of age are welcome to use the facility however they must be are fully supervised at all times by a parent or sitter (over 16).

Children from 2 years of age can use the playroom free of charge for up to two hours. Parents can pre book children of three years and upwards into the playroom for up to four hours at a cost of £6 per hour per child, subject to availability at the time of booking.

If that's enough there are also planned seasonal activities to stir, motivate and expand little minds. What will you choose?

• Boffins Chemistry - science demonstrations
