We are delighted to have been recognised with a Commitment to Excellence Award from The Leading Hotels of the World at its Annual Convention in Venice for exceptional efforts towards the environment, community outreach and cultural support. Honoured alongside the Taj West End in Bangalore, India, and Japan’s Hotel Okura Tokyo, Gleneagles also received a Grand Prize Award for scoring highest in its respective category.

stain the local, national and global environment has been nationally acknowledged by the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
This is the leading sustainable tourism certification scheme in the UK. The scheme honours independent hotels that demonstrate high levels of commitment in protecting the environment and promoting sustainable hotel tourism with bronze, silver and gold awards. Award winners are scrutinised on over 145 separate measures by qualified advisors before being appointed the relevant award.
Gleneagles is the first hotel in the UK to achieve a gold award under version four of the rigorous criteria.
