Golf Lessons
Game shaky? You need The Golf Academy. Take a basket of balls and a lesson or two from the professionals at the academy. Choose from the following or have a look at our golf packages designed specifically for development.
Individual/Group tuition (Up to 4 people per professional)
These consist of one hour lessons with one of our PGA Qualified Professionals tailored to meet each individual's requirements, whether beginners or more established golfers. After initial diagnosis of the swing, computer analysis via Dartfish software records and analyses your golf swing on screen for your benefit. Once the student has a full understanding of the changes they need to make to their swing the Professional will take them back out into the undercover bays to implement ‘the fix’.
Playing Lessons (King's, Queen's and PGA Centenary Courses)
Playing rounds are for one to three golfers with one PGA Professional. The Professional will play 18 holes with the golfers. During the round advice will be given on course tips and course management strategies to help improve scores. No major swing changes will be made during these rounds as these lessons are used to improve the golfers on-course strategy, course knowledge and give some ideas on their swing for future lessons. These can also be used to give an overall analysis of a game and identify the areas for improving. A structured training programme can then be devised to help achieve goals.
Playing Lessons (Wee Course)
Playing round is for one to three golfers with one fully qualified PGA Professional. This will include 9 holes over the Par 3, nine hole Wee Course and the Professional may play or may walk round with the player. The Professional will give on-course tips and can also make more in-depth changes, as the Wee Course is more of a training course with the chance to stop and practice particular swing movements. This is ideal for novices, as it gives the Professional time to explain rules, etiquette and point out features of the course.
