We are 100 per cent committed to protecting your security and privacy. We know that when you shop online, you want to know that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us is kept safe and secure.
Security policy
None of our customers have reported fraudulent use of a credit or debit card as a result of purchases made with us.
Our secure-server software encrypts all your personal information including credit or debit card number and name and address. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet.
Cookies
When you visit our shopping section we pass a unique cookie to your computer. This cookie contains no private information and is only used for tracking any purchases you might make. It is automatically deleted at the end of your visit to our site.
Payment options
The following credit and debit cards are accepted: Switch, MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Diners, American Express, JCB. Full payment is required at time of purchasing and will be charged to your credit or debit card. Should you require that the purchase is sent to a third party we may request you to fax us your credit card details. This will be requested after you have submitted your order to us.
Currency Convertor
In the top right hand corner of the site, you will see a dropdown function, which allows you to change the currency price on the products. Although you may have selected to view the price in US Dollars $, Euros € or Canadian Dollars $ etc you will be paying the full amount in GBP £. The conversion is for information purposes only.
Placing your order
When you submit your order request, we will respond with an e-mail acknowledgement providing you with a customer order number, your ordered goods, the value of your order and your shipping address. This email will constitute our acceptance of your order. The deemed time and date of receipt by you is notwithstanding that you may not, for reasons outside our control, have received that e-mail.
The purchase of goods to be supplied to you from the Gleneagles site shall be created when your credit card company approves your card transaction for the charges.
We shall supply the goods to you in accordance to these conditions and supply the goods in accordance with the descriptions on www.gleneagles.com
All goods are subject to availability and if due to unavoidable reasons the goods ordered are not available we will contact you by e-mail. Or if we have the same article of higher value then we will substitute the goods with this.
Delivery fees
Within the UK £2.00 per order
Europe and Russia £3.50 per order
Rest of the World £7.00 per order
Refund/ Cancellation Policy
If you wish to reject the goods owing to defects in the goods or owing to incomplete or incorrect delivery, and you return them we will refund you the purchase price of the goods or exchange them when we have received the returned good/s. We will also refund the carriage charges.
If you are rejecting goods for reasons other than defects in the goods or incomplete or incorrect delivery, you are still entitled to a full refund within two months of receipt of the goods by you, but we will not refund to you the return recorded delivery costs.
You must retain a copy of the recorded delivery receipt for your own purposes in order to provide proof to us that you have returned the good's by recorded delivery
'You have a duty throughout the period prior to refund/cancellation to take reasonable care of the goods, if you do not and the goods are in an un-sellable condition, a restocking fee may be applied at our discretion'
Note: Gleneagles does not accept any liability whatsoever for delayed delivery caused by any third party.
