GLENEAGLES WELCOME CHAMPION SHOW JUMPERS FOR EQUESTRIAN EVENING
Next month the Gleneagles® Equestrian School will welcome medal winning show jumpers Michael and William Whitaker for an exclusive evening showcasing their world class equestrian skills. This exciting event, being held on Wednesday 21 April, is undoubtedly not to be missed by show jumping enthusiasts.
The uncle and nephew duo have a strong heritage in show jumping with Michael having won the Olympic silver medal in 1984. William had an extremely successful 2009, capturing most of the UK’s major puissance titles, in addition to winning the Junior European Championship Gold in 2007. He is now looking forward to working towards the 2012 Olympics.
Guests at this unique event will be able to see how Michael and William train young horses as well as seeing them taking part in a parallel knockout and puissance jumping. They will have the opportunity to ask Michael and William questions about their equestrian careers.
An Evening with Michael and William Whitaker begins at 6.30pm at the Gleneagles Equestrian School, Auchterarder, Perthshire on 21 April 2010. Tickets are priced at £22 per adult for arena seating and £17 for children under 16/concessions when pre booked. Tickets bought on the night are priced at £25.
