A £2.7 million transformation of The Club at Gleneagles, completed in April 1998, set new trends in leisure enjoyment for members and guests at the Five Red Star resort.
The two-storey Club offers:
- 20 metre length lap pool, a leisure pool equipped with underwater jets, and an outdoor hot pool.
- gymnasium with 16 Technogym cardiovascular stations, fitted with personal TV and radio monitors and automatically programmed for your tailor-made fitness programme and the ‘Selection’ range of Technogym resistance equipment.
- lavishly appointed health suite, with relaxation areas, sauna and steam room.
- aerobics dance studio with mirrored walls, stretch bar and sprung Iroko wood floor.
- snooker room, with century old tables fully recushioned to international competition standard.
- five all-weather tennis courts, croquet, putting, pitch and putt and jogging routes
- Two floors of luxurious changing accommodation
The Spa at Gleneagles by ESPA, which opened in March 2008, is situated next to The Club. This unique space, designed by award winning interior designer Amanda Rosa, heralds a new era in luxury destination spas. Every aspect has been designed to relax guests from the moment they step inside.
A wide range of ESPA treatments and therapies is available. The Spa boasts:
- twenty treatment rooms, for gentlemen and ladies
- Heat Experiences area, inluding sauna, steam room and unisex Vitality pool

- Deseo at The Spa
Deseo, a lively and fun "Mediterranean Food Market", offering informal yet delicious dining opened on 30th July 2007.
