RESTAURANT ANDREW FAIRLIE LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE
Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, Scotland’s only two Michelin starred restaurant, located within the world-renowned Gleneagles® Hotel in Perthshire, has launched its new website. www.andrewfairlie.com, offers a host of features to food lovers and restaurant goers alike and aims to give an introduction to the famous restaurant and a taste of its award winning cuisine.
The new website displays images of some of the restaurant’s famous dishes such as Andrew’s legendary home smoked lobster, lime and herb butter. Prospective diners are also given the opportunity to view current menus and opening times.
The website provides a background to Andrew Fairlie and his career to date and behind the scenes images from the kitchen. It is also set to include interviews, videos and photo diaries of Andrew as he searches for the quality ingredients used to create his outstanding dishes.
The restaurant, winner of the ‘Most Stylish Restaurant’ award at the recent Scottish Style Awards 2007, gained its first Michelin star in 2002, eight months after opening. It was then awarded a coveted second Michelin star in January 2006 and is the only restaurant in Scotland to boast two-star recognition.
Andrew Fairlie said,
