FOOD & BEVERAGE
STRATHEARN RESTAURANT
This is Gleneagles' two-rosette award winning restaurant with magnificent views across the estate. The service is stylish and the food is from a classical era. The Strathearn Restaurant has recently achieved an East Scotland Silver Award. This accolade reflects The Strathearn's high standards in terms of food, ambience and service.
The Strathearn Restaurant is the 2AA Rosette classic style restaurant, where fine cuisine matched with the pick of the world's wine cellars is served in a formal setting.
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee the beverage side of the restaurant. To assist in managing and developing the Department to achieve and improve standards ensuring there is proper service, guest satisfaction and profitability.
We are also looking for Sommelier, who should have a higher wine certificate or similar and an excellent knowledge of fine wine and whisky. Head Waiter, Chef de Rang and Commis Waiter, who have worked in a similar environment, are also required.
Hosts required with previous experience within a reception or restaurant is essential as is an enthusiastic approach to Guest Service. Must have a high standard of personal presentation and excellent interpersonal skills.
ROOM SERVICE
A Night and Day Shift Waiter required for this busy team.
DESEO RESTAURANT & BAR
DESEO, a lively and fun "Mediterranean Food Market", offering informal yet delicious dining. Tempting aromas from various food stations change throughout the day, whilst the sense of theatre makes each station an attraction in their own right! Situated adjacent to the spa, pool and leisure area, DESEO is perfect for all the family. Dinner at DESEO means whatever you wish or desire. You can be inspired by choosing from a wide range of seafood and shellfish either grilled on charcoal or baked in salt with wild fennel. The menu covers a range of appetisers, pizzas, pastas or alternative main course dishes, which are all cooked to order or guests can help themselves to the Antipasto Table.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:-
Senior Supervisor and Supervisor - with a strong restaurant background, excellent communication skills, both written and oral, effective organisation skills and have the ability to work in a busy team environment and to work under pressure.
Waiter - who has excellent customer care and communication skills and have the ability to work in a busy team environment and to work under pressure.
Bar Tender - experienced bar staff with previous experience of making and serving cocktails and ideally knowledge of wines and barista experience required for busy bar and restaurant.
THE BAR
The Bar is a hive of activity all day serving morning coffees, snack lunches and afternoon teas and comes alive in the evening for pre-dinner cocktails and post dinner drinks. Position for a Bar Waiter, Bar Chef de Rang & Bar Tender with previous experience of making and serving cocktails and ideally a knowledge of malt whiskies required for busy cocktail bar.
THE KITCHEN
Gleneagles Culinary Arts Brigade now has several rare opportunities to join the team for the first time in over eighteen months.

The Strathearn Kitchen showcases the very best of Scottish Produce in the 2AA Rosette Strathearn Restaurant.
The Dormy Clubhouse Kitchen offers our golfing guests more traditional fayre while continuing to maintain exacting culinary standards.
The Deseo Restaurant provides a broad selection of Mediterranean influenced cuisine which has proved popular with resort guests, club members and non resident diners. The brigade team members within DESEO have the opportunity to showcase their skills to the public both within the open kitchen environment and at the food display counters in the food hall emporium that are unique features of this facility.
Chef de Parties should have ideally gained experience within Fine Dining at 2AA Rosette standard if they have a desire to work within the Strathearn team, however all suitably skilled and experienced candidates will be provided with the opportunity to progress their career to Fine Dining level if they wish to do so.
Commis vacancies are ideally suited for people with a passion/flair for continental style cuisine.
An opportunity has arisen for Bar Kitchen/Breakfast Chef to work between both roles. Working in the Bar Kitchen will be 2 days a week and the shifts are 9 - 6pm and the Breakfast Chef shifts are 6 - 2pm.
Previous experience in a minimum 4 star establishment is preferred, although talented graduates with a commitment to a long term career in the culinary arts will also be considered.

Accommodation Services Supervisors - must have previous experience in a minimum 4* establishment.
Accommodation Services Assistants - Housekeeping team have vacancies for room attendants to clean and service guest rooms to a 5* standard.
GLENMOR - SEASONAL OWNERSHIP PROPERTIES
Housekeeping Supervisor - must have previous experience in a minimum 4* environment.
Housekeeping Attendants (P/T) - vacancies for house attendants to clean and service the houses at the Glenmor Seasonal Ownership Village to a 5* standard.
THE TRYST AT GLENMOR
We are recruiting for a Cook for the Tryst at the Glenmor Seasonal Ownership Village at The Gleneagles Hotel. You will be part of a small operational team in the heart of Glenmor, preparing and serving fresh food for quick service. The Tryst is a warm friendly Clubhouse, where there will be a close working relationship with the Concierge and Owners. Food preparation and service qualifications and all Food Safety knowledge and practices are essential.
STAFF DINING/SOCIAL CLUB
Bar and Food Services Assistants are required, working between our staff restaurant and staff social club. Various shifts to suit.
SALON
Based in the main Salon, a Senior Stylist is required who is technically skilled and has a good basic knowledge of Gent's hair, colouring and dressing hair for functions and weddings. Excellent interpersonal skills and high standard of personal grooming are also essential requirements for this role.
COMMUNICATIONS
Help Desk Co-Ordinator - To retain our identity as the core of Gleneagles by keeping abreast of all relevant rechnology, thus enabling us to provide and maintain the high and efficient standards of communication, sales and technical services expected by our internal and external customers, while aiming for a healthy profit margin.
Playroom
Children's Leisure Co-ordinator - To supervise playroom personnel and operations to provide an enjoyable and entertaining experience to all child visitors to the playroom, thereby enhancing guest and member satisfaction. To create and devise activities for all children at Gleneagles. The candidates must be fully qualified as a Nursery Nurse, Child Care Practitioner, preferably with either SVQ Level 3 or HNC in Child Care and Education.
