FOOD SERVICE
We are currently recruiting for positions within the following Formal and Informal dining restaurants;
The Strathearn Restaurant is the 2AA rosette classic style restaurant, where fine cuisine matched with the pick of the world's wine cellars is served in a formal setting.
Deseo Restaurant & Bar, a lively and fun "Mediterranean Food Market", offering informal yet delicious dining.
Dormy Clubhouse Bar & Grill, a popular venue for the many golfing guests that visit our championship courses. Traditional golfers' fayre is served with real ales and great lagers served in the bar.
THE KITCHEN
Vacancies at all levels across the Resort are available.
The Strathearn Kitchen showcases the very best of Scottish Produce in the 2AA Rosette Strathearn Restaurant.
The Dormy Clubhouse Kitchen offers our golfing guests more traditional fayre while continuing to maintain exacting culinary standards.
The Deseo Restaurant provides a broad selection of Mediterranean influenced cuisine which has proved popular with resort guests, club members and non resident diners. The brigade team members within DESEO have opportunity to showcase their skills to the public both within the open kitchen environment and at the food display counters in the food hall emporium that are unique features of this facility. We are currently looking for a Sous Chef.
THE BAR
The Bar is a hive of activity all day serving morning coffees, snack lunches and afternoon teas and comes alive in the evening for pre-dinner cocktails and post dinner drinks. Position for Bar Waiter with previous experience of making and serving cocktails and ideally a knowledge of malt whiskies required for busy cocktail bar.
FRONT OFFICE
Front of House Manager - This high profile and senior role reports directly to the Resort General Manager and is a key member of the operational management team. The role incorporates comprehensive responsibility for effective service delivery within the Reception, Concierge, Porters and Chauffeur Drive Teams to ensure a standard of service that exceeds guests' expectations while achieving and surpassing profitability and revenue goals for these areas.
Our ideal candidate will:

Be looking to progress their career within the luxury hotel market and possess suitable experience from within a resort style or large city centre property at deluxe 4 star or 5 star level.

Be able to demonstrate confidence, competence and expertise in successfully working as a Front of House Manager or Assistant Front of House Manager.

Possess innate drive and ambition to deliver only the most exemplary levels of consistent customer service.

Have a quantifiable track record of success in leadership.

An ability to effectively communicate and connect with people at all levels.

Guest Services Co-Ordinator - This critical role is essential for ensuring we deliver a friendly and efficient service to all our guests at point of their arrival and departure. Primarily responsible for dealing with all aspects of guest check in and out procedures, general guest queries, billing enquiries and front of house duties the Guest Services Co-Ordinators are a key point of contact throughout our guests Gleneagles experience.
Previous experience in a similar high quality customer driven environment is required for success in this role, as are excellent communication skills and enthusiastic approach to customer service.
EVENT SALESEvent Administrator - Responsible for the event billing journey, ensuring that all event accounts are dealt with accurately and promptly. Insertion of rooming lists when packages or complex billing instructions are involved.
Supporting Event Managers and Co-ordinators with Events administration where required.
Event Sales Co-Ordinator - To manage less complex group events and to facilitate maximum harmony between the client and The Resort. Ensure all processes meet both the client and business expectations maximising revenues and profitability. To encourage and gain client information to generate new and repeat business.
ACCOMMODATION SERVICES
Senior Floor Supervisor (Flexi) - must have previous experience in a minimum 4* establishment.
Accommodation Services Assistant (Flexi)- Housekeeping team has a vacancy for a room attendant to clean and service guest rooms to a 5* standard.
SALON
We are looking for a Senior Stylist who has a flair for creative cutting to join our expanding team. They need to be motivated, enthusiastic and will be required to train junior members of the team.
GLENMOR - SEASONAL OWNERSHIP PROPERTIES
We have additional vacancies for Full Time Senior Floor Supervisor and Part Time Housekeeping Assistant Team members at the Glenmor Owner's Club, The Gleneagles Hotel.
This is a village of 53 Luxury 5 Star Seasonal Ownership Homes, set in glorious moorland overlooking the Strathearn Valley towards the Grampian Mountains.
We are looking for enthusiastic energetic team players who have proven Housekeeping experience in a luxury Hospitality environment.
The Homes require full servicing on the changeover days of Mon/Fri/Sat with interim cleans throughout the week.

Head Receptionist - previous experience within a guest facing environment, computer literacy and experience with booking systems beneficial and a genuine interest in Spa's and Holistic treatments are desirable, however not essential as full training will be given. You will be required to work shifts and weekends, Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a high standard of personal grooming.
Spa Attendants (F/T) - To assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the Spa.
PLAYROOM
Playroom Assistant (Flexi) - Preferably qualified to a minimum of SVQ 3 in close proximity childcare or equivalent. Our children's playroom is available for children from age 2 years to 10 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative playroom assistant to support the current team. The ideal candidate will have relevant childcare qualifications and be able to demonstrate a commitment to creating a fun environment for our junior guests. This is a full time position and will necessitate working weekends on a rota basis.
EQUESTRIAN CENTRE
The Gleneagles Hotel Equestrian Centre is every horse rider's dream. It is one of the best-equipped Equestrian Centres in the world and provide facilities for every discipline of horsemanship and at every level of experience.
Coach/Instructor - This is rare opportunity to join a leading equestrian facility working within the luxurious surroundings of the world famous Gleneagles Resort. You will be required to fulfill a 40 hour week provising quality tuition to a range of customers covering all ages, and experience.
May be required to assist with additional riding school operational duties realtive to business needs. Additional training and CPD support provided tailored to individual needs. Salary may be negotiated if Qualifications and experience exceed the minimum requirements.
Must be of cheerful disposition: A team player who is able to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills combined with strong coaching and instructional expertise from complete beginners to experienced riders. Minimum Qualifications required BHS II.
Yard Supervisor - Responsible for a team of six Grooms the Yard Supervisor needs to possess excellent people management skills and effectively communicate at all levels with customers, colleagues and suppliers alike. Good planning and organisational abilities are a must in order to maintain and build upon the existing Brand standards. Candidates must also display a mature and flexible attitude to work whilst demonstrating sound equestrian knowledge and competence supported by relevant qualifications.
