Babies and Toddlers
Just had a baby? Then let us help you rest and kick back. Why don’t you try our mother and baby bonding session in our relaxing leisure facilities or venture down to our Playroom to play with our huge selection of toys, books and games?
We welcome little ones of all ages and have some activities designed especially for you and your baby or toddler. You can try:
Baby Swim
• specially crafted activity session for mothers and babies
• session is designed to familiarize babies & toddlers to water gently
• session uses music, song and movement to relax
• sessions lead to submersion
• held as a group session in our swimming pool
• runs out-with school holidays (term-time) as the pool is quieter
• classes are subject to a small charge and start at £6.00 per child
The Playroom
• a wonderful playroom for young children - situated in the main hotel and open daily
• try a hand and foot print painting session
• a basket of Heuristic toys for babies and toddlers to explore
• sandpit and water play for your toddlers to enjoy
• selection of toddler toys
• kitchen amenities
Every year the playroom undergoes an audit by Care Commission Scotland.
Please note that The Playroom is registered for the care of children 2 and upwards. Children if under 2 years of age are welcome to use the facility however they must be are fully supervised at all times by a parent or sitter (over 16).
Children from 2 years of age can use the playroom free of charge for up to two hours. Parents can pre book children of three years and upwards into the playroom for up to four hours at a cost of £6 per hour per child, subject to availability at the time of booking.
