Clay Target Shooting
Qualified professional instructors teach guests the key techniques of clay shooting from safety to gun mounting, swinging through the target, to pulling the trigger. Clay target shooting brings any size of group together for an exhilarating shooting experience that can be tailored to be as relaxed or competitive as required.
The Gleneagles Shooting School is set on a spectacular grouse moor and is regarded as the world’s finest facility for teaching the full range of shooting disciplines. Around 80% of guests are experiencing clay target shooting for the first time and with tuition from the Gleneagles professionals all will achieve success in hitting targets.

Archery
Practise and acquire the ancient skill of archery with recurve target bows. Qualified professional instructors will provide expert tuition for novices or skilled archers. Archery encourages concentration, poise, technique and determination, but does not require great strength or stamina. Team-building exercises can be scored in teams or individually.

Air Rifle Shooting
Learn how to use high-powered, precision telescopic-sighted air rifles to knock down reactive targets in the purpose built indoor/outdoor range facility at Gleneagles. Qualifed professional instructors provide expert tuition to enable both novices and experienced marksmen to test their aim and concentration in this demanding sport. Air rifle shooting can also be scored individually or in teams.

Target Activities Combination
Combine shooting with one of the other activities as a marksmanship 'targets challenge' to further your experience and enjoyment. For an unusual spectator event, enjoy a professional clay target shooting, air rifle and archery demonstration.
