Centre Pony Club
Centre Pony Club is a branch of The Pony Club, a national charitable organisation. The Centre Membership Scheme was introduced in 1998 so that children and young people without their own pony could join and take part in Pony Club activities.
Children are able to broaden their knowledge of horse and pony care, feel part of a world wide organisation which has given so many members great fun and achieve their goals in the equestrian world, whatever they may be.
Centre Pony Club runs at the Equestrian School on the weekends during term time, there are several groups throughout the day for different ages and abilities. Children who can walk, trot and (nearly!) canter can start in the lowest group and progress until they are 18! Each session lasts for 90 mins and consists of a 45 min riding lesson and a 45 min lecture / practical / stable management session.
Pony Clubbers need to be members of the Equestrian School – see the membership page.
